1. How did you guys come up with idea for doing this website and what are you attempting to accomplish with it?

This project started with the simple idea of putting together a nice website that showcased the beautiful ethnic women in Atlanta. It eventually evolved to the point where we started working with women in Georgia then the surrounding southeast areas. Once outside parties starting contacting us about working with the models they saw on AwesomeBods, we realized it was also a great way for aspiring models to gain some good exposure. Although we still handle this project as a 'hobbie' and continue to have fun and improve on it, we also spend a lot of time getting more exposure for the site which in turn, gets more exposure for the beautiful women featured here.

2. How much money will need to come out of my pocket to take advantage of this opportunity?

Absolutely NOTHING! We don't require any fees from the models featured on the site, although in some cases the model may be responsible for their own make-up on the shoot so some expenses may be required to make sure that's taken care of.

3. What kind of photo shoots are you looking for?

There are 4 basic types of shoots a model can choose from and it depends on what the individual model's comfortable with. I've listed the 4 types of shoots we're looking for below. We normally consult with the model before her shoot takes place to finalize which one(s) she's willing to do. Feel free to click on the shoot type below for some sample pictures that will give you idea of what we're looking for.

*Cute & Sexy Attire - We're looking for the model to pose in those sexy short and body hugging dresses, tight jeans, daisy duke shorts, etc. We really need the outfits in this category to showcase your curves and show a little 'flesh'.

*Bikini - No need to explain this option...Bikinis...plain and simple.

*Lingerie - This is relatively to the point also...Lingerie...for those not familiar with the term, take a trip to your local area Victoria Secrets store or view their catalog.

*Implied/Artistic Nudes - Although we don't do full nudity on AwesomeBods, we will shoot Implied/Artistic type nudes. This type of shoot allows us to work with model where the setting gives a 'hint' of nudity. It allows the viewer to use their imagination as to how far we actually went without "putting it all" out there. Definitely feel free to contact us for more information if you're interested in adding this type of shoot to your portfolio.

4. What kind of models are you interested in?

We're looking for attractive, sexy, ethnic models to feature on the website. In 2006, we decided to step things up in the model selection process, which is why we now have a screening team to assist us with that. Although our largest ethnic base right now are African-americans, we strongly encourage more participation from the beautiful Asian, Spanish, Latin and Middle Eastern communities.

5. What exactly is the 'screening team' and how will they assist in the model selection process?

The screening team consists of photographers, established models, webmasters and also includes some of the normal visitors to the AwesomeBods website. This 'closed' group actually votes on potential models being considered for the site. The members of the screening team are based all across the country and voting is done anonymously and online. A model must receive a certain percentage of the votes, in her favor, before she can be featured on the site.

6. What if I'm uncomfortable doing a particular style of shoot?

We understand that each model is shaped and looks different in appearance. Some models may have areas that they're not comfortable in displaying and that's understandable. Which is why you'll have the opportunity to decide which style of shoot you'd be most comfortable in doing. We'll normally contact you before the shoot to discuss the type of shoot and confirm the wardrobe.

7. Where will the shoots take place?

Most photo shoots will take place in the metro Atlanta area. We try not to have shoots at the same locale since we strive to get different scenes & viewpoints from each photoshoot. We'll work with models, outside of the area individually, regarding travel arrangements and dates. On very rare occasions, we may have a photographer travel to your city, but once again, that's handled on an individual basis.

8. Will your staff display my pictures on any other sites besides AwesomeBods.com?

No. All pictures taken by our photographers will exclusively be displayed on Awesomebods.com. We can't be giving our assets to the competition now can we! :)

9. Will I be limited to doing shoots only for your site and not your competition?

Absolutely not! We understand the goals some models have in furthering their careers and we don't want to be a "stumbling block" in that process. We only require that the model signs an aggreement giving us permission to display her pics on our website(AwesomeBods.com), in exchange for those pics on CD...FREE OF CHARGE! We normally get correspondence from other photographers, webmasters, etc. regarding interest in working with the models that appear on AwesomeBods. When that happens, we forward the information to the model they're interested in and the model decides whether she'd like to pursue the opportunity any further. If you are contacted by people to do work for them, by all means....JUMP ON IT! :) Even if competing websites want you to do shoots with them, we encourage you to do it. We just don't want the pics that we take to end up on someone else's pages.

10. Will my personal information be displayed on your site?

Absolutely not! Like we stated above, individuals will contact us directly about a particular model, then we forward the information to the model and leave it up to that models discretion on whether they'd like to pursue the offer any further. The information you give to us is strictly used by the staff of AwesomeBods.com for contact purposes only.

11. Can I use some of the pictures you take for my personal portfolio?

Yes you can! We'll burn each model a CD containing the pics from a particular photo shoot. The CD that we provide can be used for your portfolio and you have the option of having prints made from the pictures on it.

12. Do you intend to put together other projects outside of your website?

Yes. We have already discussed the possibility of putting together a calendar in the future, so that's something we're looking into strongly. Actually, we have several great ideas that could come about depending on the success of this site.

13. Can I possibly make money modeling for your site in the future?

Yes. We want the models to share in the success of the website. The site will eventually be subscription based, so we do intend to make a profit. The plan right now is to have the first several photo shoots be a TFP(Time for Prints) opportunity. In other words, models will be given a CD, containing their pics, from each photo session to use in their own personal portfolios. Now that's fine, but after awhile you'll have enough pics to start wallpapering your place with them! :) So, we're looking into how to compensate the models in the future. Right now, the idea will be for the model to provide us with 8-10 galleries that we actually use on the site, then each photo shoot after that the model will be compensated monetarily.

Of course, if you are a model that currently has professional or semi-professional exposure and experience, then we can talk with you individually regarding pay and rates. That all depends on the quality of the work you've already done and how bad we want you for the site.
