How long have you been modeling?
I have been modeling for about two years now.
What made you decide to pursue a career in modeling?
People have always told me that I had an exotic look and that I should pursue modeling one day.
What impact has modeling had on your personal life?
It has connected me to the right people that I need to have in my life...business oriented people.
Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as a whole?
As a whole it's a challenge. So many young women want to think they have what it takes but its more to it that a cute face and a nice body. It's risky because you can have a nice look but get turned down so many times. You have to be at the right place at the right time. It's definately a challenge.
What do you intend to gain or get out of your career in modeling?
I want to attain fame and fortune. I want my name to be recognized in Hollywood someday.
What are some of the projects you're currently working on?
I'm working on a couple of calendars coming out this summer. A lot of things are pending at the moment so I won't go into detail until I know for sure, but I'll definately keep you informed!
What are your turn-ons?
Honest people that know what they're talking about.
What are your turn-offs?
People that don't keep themselves groomed. People that think they know everything but know nothing at all.
Name some things you couldn't live without?
I couldnt live without music, men, or lobster tails. :)
How would you describe your overall personality?
I'm very out-going and can be really silly at times.
Tell us one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
That I can be very goofy.
What would you consider your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my eye contact.
What would you consider your greatest physical asset?
My lips and eyes would be my greatest assets.
What do you consider the perfect first date?
The perfect first date is a romantic dinner by candle light, off the water somewhere. For me and my date to connect and have a flowing conversation. A perfect gentlemen who opens doors and knows how to really treat a woman.
Regarding the gentlemen you date, name one quality they must possess and why?
They must be entertaining(funny).
What are your opinions on the state of the black male today?
Black men today for the most part need to know how to stick together, also I think some black men are just satisfied with a
typical career and don't want to expand their horizons. I love black men though. Black men are strong men and can take control if they wanted to.
When a brother attempts to approach you in public, give us some advice on how it should be done?
You shouldn't be scared first off. Don't attempt to run game because I can smell it a mile away. Come natural and don't constantly use those 80's lines about how much you like me.
Give us a description of a normal evening at home with you?
A nice aromatherpy bath with candles everywhere, watching the line-ups on tv for the week or reading a book.
Overall today theres a lot of talk regarding sisters and the whole bisexual movement, if you want to call it that. What are your personal feelings regarding this rising 'phenomenon' among black women?
I think it's getting out of hand. I think it's a trend that will go away hopefully because too many beautiful women are just confused and are trying to find their identity. Usually girls who go both ways are just freaky. I wouldn't call them gay. It's just a phase for most women. But there is nothing more precious than a mans touch. I can't have soft hands feeling on me...not my kinda party. But I treat everyone equally...I don't agree with dating the same sex but I treat everyone the same.
What are your current opinions on the Bush administration and on the work they're doing?
Well they are doing a good job now because Bush wants the votes from the democrats. So now he is doing a job well done which is a front because once he gets re-elected he will not be there for the families that live in proverty and he will not show any love to families on assistance nor will he care about Social Security for the elderly. He is a typical politician. Talks a good game.
What are your opinions on the recent capture of Saddam Hussein and do you think it'll make an impact in the war on 'terrorism'?
Of course it's not over. I just hope that our authority figures are prepared for the worst case scenarios.
Do you intend to vote in this years(2004) election?
Of course, every vote counts but I don't understand the 'electoral college' thing...that sucks.
What are your feelings regarding the 2004 election, especially after the 2000 voting fiasco?
I think they will pay close attention to the votes this time. I don't think any funny business will take place this year.
What are some of your other interest outside of modeling?
I enjoy going out to movies, traveling and I will try just about any sport.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I see my self working as a forensic scientist and if my modeling career takes off the way I want it to, I would like to be a talk show host or a spokesmodel for the hip-hop industry(music,clothing line).
What advice would you give to young women considering a career in modeling?
You must have confidence and be prepared to take constructive criticism from agents. Don't let that discourage you. If you are serious, keep trying and if it's meant for you to have a spot in the modeling industry you will be noticed. Pay attention to those fake agencies that take your money. You shouldn't have to pay them to post your pics on the web. Shop hard for a photograper and agency because there are some snakes in the industry.
