I'VE BEEM MODELING FOR ABOUT 11 MONTHS
What made you decide to pursue a career in modeling?
WELL I WOULD
ALWAYS GET A LOT OF PEOPLE TELLING ME THAT I WAS PRETTY BUT I NEVER
REALLY BELIEVED ANYONE UNTIL I WAS ABOUT 19 GOING ON 20 WHEN MY STYLE
STARTED TO CHANGE. SO THAT'S AROUND THE TIME I STARTED PAYING ATTENTION
TO MUSIC VIDEOS AND I WAS LIKE, "HEY I CAN DO THAT" AND SO THAT'S WHEN I
DECEIDED TO TAKE A SHOT AT IT.
What impact has modeling had on your personal life?
NONE REALL.Y I'M
STILL THE SAME OLD ME. I PRETTY MUCH STILL DO THE SAME THINGS I USED TO
DO BEFORE...I ACUTALLY STOP GO?ING OUT AS MUCH AS I USED TO BUT I
THINK THAT HAS MORE TO DO WITH MY MATURAITY LEVEL NOW.
Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as a whole?
IT'S A DOG EAT DOG WORLD...... THERE ARE A LO?T OF FAKE PEOPLE
OUT THERE AND THERE AREA A LO?T OF SHARKS OUT THERE SO Y?OU HAVE TO BE
CAREFUL. BUT AS FOR THE MODELS I LOVE THEM ALL...I HAVEN'T HAD A
PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THEM. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE MOST NORMAL PEOPLE IN
THE INDUSTRY.
What do you intend to gain or get out of your career in modeling?
WELL
I WANT TO JUST BE AN ENTERTAINER ALL THE WAY AROUND AND I WANT TO JUST
MAKE A LOT OF MONEY IN THIS INDUSTRY WITHOUT COMPROMISING OR DEGRADING
MYSELF.
What can visitors expect when they visit your website?
THEY ARE GOING TO BE TANTALIZED MY WEBSITE! IT'S DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU SEE OUT THERE RIGHT NOW.
Have strangers started approaching you on the street because they've seen your website and how does that make you feel?
WELL THEY HAVE
APPROACHED ME ABOUT THE COVER OF KING. IT WAS WEIRD CAUSE I HAD ON MY
BIG GLASSES AND A HAT AND I WALKED INTO THIS STORE AND A GUY WAS
READING THE KING MAG AND HE LOOKED UP AND WAS LIKE THIS IS YOU. I
WAS LIKE WOW...PLUS, I HAD ON SWEATS AND A BABY TEE. IT MADE ME FEEL
REALLY, REALLY GOOD.
What are some of the projects you're currently working on?
WELL I JUST
FINISHED DOING A VIDEO FOR THE CLIPSE FEATURING PHARRELL& MR. MEE TOO. RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO GET INTO SOME MORE MAGAZINES.
What are your turn-ons?
A GUY WHO SMELLS GOOD.
What are your turn-offs?
MESSED UP TEETH AND BAD BREATH. IF YoUR TEETH ARE MESSED UP I DON'T MIND AS LONG AS YoU HAVE BRACES AND YoU'RE
MAKING AN EFFORT TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK GOOD.
Name some things you couldn't live without?
MY EX. RIGHT NOW HE'S THE PERSON WHO HELPS ME OUT THE MOST. ALL THE MATERIAL THINGS I CAN LIVE WITHOUT.
How would you describe your overall personality?
GOOFY! I LOVE TO LAUGH. I LOVE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO MAKE ME LAUGH.
Tell us one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
THAT I'M GOOFY. YOU KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE EXPECT US MODELS TO BE VERY SERIOUS OR STUCK UP BUT I'M THE TOTAL OPPOSITE.
What would you consider your greatest strength?
MY COMPASSIONATE HEART. I LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE.
What would you consider your greatest physical asset?
MY SMALL WAIST. THAT SEEMS TO TURN A LOT OF GUYS ON. ;)
What signals do you give to a man when you want him to make the first move?
EYE CONTACT. I MIGHT BITE MY BOTTOM LIP IF I'M REALLY FEELING HIM.
What signals do you give a man when you want him to stay away?
I WON'T LOOK AT HIM. I WILL MOVE AWAY TO A SPOT WHERE HE CAN'T SEE ME.
What is the one thing you wish all men knew about women?
THAT WE LIKE TO BE LOVED AND PAMPERED. BY LOVE, I MEAN TRUE LOVE. NOT THE "I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU" TYPE LoVE. :)
Give us an example of what you'd consider the perfect first date?
I WANT THE GUY TO SUPRISE ME WITH SOMETHING GOOD MAYBE TAKE ME TO BURKE WILLIAMS FOR A DAY AT THE SPA AND THE A NICE DINNER AND MAYBE A MOVIE.
Regarding the gentlemen you date, name one quality they must possess and why?
A SENSE OF HUMOR. LIKE I SAID...I LOVE TO LAUGH!
If you had to make a choice...today...of the one place on earth to live out the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
PROBABLY CALIFORNIA. THE WEATHER IS PERFECT.
What are your opinions on the state of the black male today?
I LOVE THEM! I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT MY BROTHERS.
When a gentleman attempts to approach you in public, give us some advice on how it should be done?
THEY SHOULD START WITH, "EXCUSE ME MISS. HOW ARE YOU DOING?" AND GO FROM THERE. NOT "HEY LIL MAMA" OR "HEY YOU."
Give us a description of a normal evening at home with you?
JUST RELAXING ON THE COUCH & WATCHING MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA.
Overall today theres a lot of talk regarding sisters and the whole bisexual movement, if you want to call it that. What are your personal feelings regarding this rising 'phenomenon' among black women?
WELL I DON'T GET DOWN LIKE THAT BUT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST ANYONE WHO DOES.
What are your thoughts regarding brothers on the DL(Down Low)? This seems to be a growing issue with our sisters today.
I JUST WISH THE DOWN LOW BROTHERS WOULD TELL THEIR PARTNERS AND GIVE THEM THE CHOICE TO STAY OR LEAVE.
Are there any current issues that the African-American community's dealing with that cause you the most concerns?
YES. WE DON'T SUPPORT EACH OTHER, AS A WHOLE. THAT'S OUR BIGGEST PROBLEM.
Ok...unfortunately there will always be 'haters' lurking around. Have you experienced that in your modeling endeavors and if so, how have you dealt with it?
NO I HAVEN'T, LUCKILY. EVERYONE HAS BEEN PRETTY DOWN TO EARTH.
What are some of your other interest outside of modeling?
SINGING.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
IN A BIG HOUSE WITH A GOOD HUSBAND JUST ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH TO MY FIRST CHILD. DRIVING MY MASERATI WITH A COUPLE OF HUNDRED THOUSAND IN THE BANK. :) OH...STILL MODELING AND ABOUT TO RELEASE MY THIRD ALBUM.
So in closing, what advice would you give to young women considering a career in modeling?
ONLY DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO AND ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.
