How long have you been modeling?
I have been modeling actually since I was 4 years old. My first modeling assignment was in Guam for a Japanese airline.
What made you decide to pursue a career in modeling?
Well I quit modeling after about 5 years of age, because my mother wanted me to be involved in all the other things that kids of that age do so I took a break, But at age 19 I was approached by a few people at a tradeshow I was at with My boyfriend at the time and so I decided what the heck, So Here I am now and I am loving every minute of it.
What impact has modeling had on your personal life?
Well it keeps you very busy as far as schedules, I have been lucky enough to have a manager at work and all of my co-workers at work understand and support me, But I would have to say trying to juggle Modeling, Work and My own R&R time for myself so I can have a personal Life.
Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as a whole?
Well as a whole I have had the Opportunity to work with alot of People as far as other Models and Photographers that have been so awesome we
support one another and I think it's great to be around people with the same dreams and goals as myself and great positive attitudes.
What do you intend to gain or get out of your career in modeling?
I am hoping to get some more print as far as magazines or calendars I would think that would be the best to see myself in a national magazine or a calendar I have done alot here in Hawaii but it is only for the Hawaiian Island viewers to see. So yeah something much bigger would be really cool.
What are some of the projects you're currently working on?
Currently I am a HawaiianIslander Girl / Cheerleader, But don't let the word Cheerleader fool you, We have a great time it's Arena Football and you are truley in the Game, I have met alot of wonderful people and the other Islandergirls are the BEST! I am also getting ready for Two Big major Car Trade shows here in Hawaii StreetCar ShowOff in Aug. and Hot Import Nights In Dec, I still do tradeshows every now and then since thats where I actually started Modeling and I always have such a blast at them. and also gett ing Ready for the Miss Hawaiian Tropic in Guam, Also I go go dance at Local Clubs and thats go go not STRIP..but yeah thats it for now.
Name some things you couldn't live without?
Jack in the box I love me some Jack in the Box at 3am in the morning coming from the clubs & My Family and Friends.
Tell us one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
I have had people tell me that I look really really shy and innocent in all of my Pictures but once they get to know me they see I am just some dorky fun girl and they love it...
What would you consider your greatest strength?
I am outgoing.. I love to meet people and I enjoy being around the people that makes me the happiest that gives me much strength.
What would you consider your greatest physical asset?
Lips..I have full Lips my Legs..there long Umm it use to be my hair but I cut it and donated it to a girl that really wanted it hahaha.
Give us an example of what you consider the perfect first date?
Pick me up and NOT be late hahaha.If your late that can screw up my whole night..nah just kidding It could be basically anything as long as we are both laughing and having a good time, thats a perfect date to me.
Regarding the gentlemen you date, name one quality they must possess and why?
they must have a smile on there face..Or a laugh ..Just don't be to serious, Just have fun again and make me laugh I love to laugh.
When a man attempts to approach you in public, give us some advice on how it should be done?
haha I can't tell you how it should be done, But I can tell you how I would prefer he did appproach me in public, First Smile and then smile
somemore and then maybe ask me how I am doing and then smile somemore then ask me my name and maybe if he's smiling I may just tell him. haha...
What signals do you give to a man when you want him to make the first move?
I just wink and smile at him! ;)
What signals do you give a man when you want him to stay away?
turn off my phone or change my number, Or just tell him straight up.
What is the one thing you wish all men knew about women?
That we like to be treated like a lady and not just like some of the guys!
Give us a description of a normal evening at home with you?
Normal hahaha, Watch a good Chick flick with one of My good friends or just hang out with my family having a nice dinner and talking story or
reading a book.
What are some of your other interest outside of modeling?
Dancing, going to the beach, going to a sport function, Or going out to the clubs with friends or dinner.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
being more advanced in my Modeling I see myself in either California or New York, which ever one comes first.
What advice would you give to young women considering a career in modeling?
I would tell her which I already do give advise to my 16 year old sister I tell her it is fun, I tell her NEVER go to a photoshoot by your self if you don't know the Photographer I tell her to always do as best as she can..regardless if another girl or model out there tells you something that your not doing right, I tell her just to have fun and don't let anyone or anything try to bring you down, just be yourself and the rest will shine through. =).
