The staff of AwesomeBods would like to thank you for stopping by and checking out our little spot on the web. We've been at work for some time now to line up some of the sexiest amateur women in the southeast, especially Atlanta, to showcase for you. We were also lucky enough to line up some outstanding photographers in the Atlanta area to participate in this project. With hard work and feedback from our visitors and members, we hope to become a major player in bringing you an array of beautiful, sexy and ethnic amateur models. Keep in mind that our goal is two-fold. First we'd like to be a starting point for aspiring models who seek exposure via the web and for women who'd just like to represent Atlanta and the southeast by being featured on the site. Anyone interested in being featured as a model should be aware that this opportunity is "FREE", which mean no costs are involved on your part, so take advantage of it!

Ok...just a quick update on a project we're putting together for 2006. It seems that everyone has their individual perspective or viewpoint, if you will, on what type of model we should be featuring on the site, to represent the southeast. So, next year, we're putting together a screening team, created among our visitors and industry insiders, to help us make decisions like that. It's only logical that we bring in the opinions of the very people visiting the site week after week to participate in the process. If you would like to be a part of that decision making group, visit the 'Contact' page and submit your request to us. Just make sure you include a valid email address, along with a short message that you'd like to be a part of this team. In the future, the screening team will participate in the final selection process for models being featured on the site. Feel free to click here to submit your request.

Being of African descent, there's one thing I truly love about our ethnic women...that being the fact that they come in MANY flavors! Whether you have a preference for chocolate, vanilla or anything in between, you can never get bored from such a selection. Which brings us to this months update featuring a couple of those flavors I mentioned. Check out Angelina and Latoya! Angelina(She's Italian for all those wondering) is coming to us from Tennessee and my girl Latoya, is reppin' Virginia. We're very greatful to have both of these beautiful women participate in the project and it was a pleasure working with each of them. I have another industry insider interview this month featuring the lovely April 'Mecca' Watts. You definitely want to check-out what she's doing with the new "Pin-up Project" that recently launched. Dedicating this project to the men and women serving in the military, April knows she can't bring them home, but she'd like to bring them some relief and help them get through their tour of duty. Check out our newest model gracing the site this month...Miss Fe! This beautiful sister originates from Philly and has been reppin' the ATL for about 3 months now. Yes, she's a recent transplant, just like 80% of us living in this city. Her background is in radio broadcasting and she's looking to re-enter the market here in Atlanta. We have another interview this month with the lovely Crys Marie. Crys has explored different areas of the entertainment and modeling industry including, print ads, calendars, television appearances, voice-overs and event hosting, but would like to gain more exposure in acting as well. She's currently modeling part-time while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Advertising in Tallahassee, Florida. We wish her the best in those endeavors. Just a quick update to make you aware that we've added a new section to the site called..."Ethnic Beauty of the Moment"! Each day we'll be showcasing one gorgeous model that we've discovered during our travels across the net, so make sure you check it out. We're currently planning and scheduling our shoots for the remainder of the year, so if you're interested in being featured on the site, make sure you fill out the on-line application. We're introducing you to three new models this month. Check out Shani, LaKeisha and Yonnie! All three are currently representing the ATL and it was a pleasure working with each of them. Many have labeled her one of the brightest young, up and coming models in the industry, which has led to Urban Renewal Media Chief, Chuck Holliday, crowning her "The New Generation Urban Model." I'd also like to give notice that we have an additional photographer that has joined the AwesomeBods project and her name is Rain. That's right...I said her! Check out the latest interview featuring the beautiful Shauna Faith. If she looks familiar, it's probably due to the fact that she's gracing the pages of the latest Smooth Magazine(Rookie Issue)! Shauna graduated from Piscataway High School in New Jersey. She attended La Salle University in Philadelphia for two years while studying Communications and Business Administration. However, she transferred to Seton Hall University in New Jersey to be closer to home and closer to the 'Big Apple'. Currently, Shauna is majoring in Communications and Informational Technology at Seton Hall. Her accomplishments in both print and runway are just too numerous to list here, so click her image below to check out the interview and visit her personal website.

 

Just so you know, we're currently on hiatus for the month of August. The team's basically just enjoying the last month of summer and taking care of personal issues. We'll be back in full swing with the photoshoots in September. P.Brown Entertainment presents the first annual Model Madness Summer Splash! It's going down this Saturday, July 16th at The Atrium...here in Atlanta. The doors will open at 9PM. Make sure you're prepared to party into the night with some of Atlanta's hottest models. Some of the faces representing that evening will be from HotGirlz, BikerGurlz, Black Stallions, and many more! This lovely sister originates from North Carolina and her ethnic background consists of African-american, Dominican and Italian. She's been representing the ATL for about 9 years now and is currently looking to make a big mark in the modeling industry. Aushiana says that whatever it is she strives for in life, she's just looking to remain happy and be successful at it. It was a pleasure working with her on the shoot and if we're lucky, we'll get a chance to do some additional stuff with her in the future. We have another lovely young lady to introduce to you this month by the name of Mia. Mia originates from Jamaica and has been representing the ATL since 2003. To cut down on the emails regarding her ethnicity...she's Jamaican/Chinese! Mia is currently working to build her modeling portfolio. She enjoys fashion & commercial print work. She looks forward to becoming a well-known socialite; to be on your list of people to meet and work with. Well, it was definitely a pleasure working with her on the shoot. I'd also like to introduce you to another lovely young lady by the name of Jessica. Jessica's coming to us by way of Texas. For those curious, her ethnic background consists of Caucasion, Irish and Italian. She travels quite frequently between Houston and Atlanta and if we're lucky...we'll get a chance to actually work with her on one of those visits. With her permission, we've added some samples of her recent work with photographers... Feel feel to click on her pics below to check them out. As a follow-up note, she's currently working on her website, so we'll definitely keep you informed on how that's progressing.

 

This month we have another interview featuring the beautiful Angie Brooks. Once again, for those that are curious...she's mixed with African-american, Japanese and Native American. Nice combination if you ask me! Being an army brat, Angie was was born in California and raised in Germany, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Philadelphia, Hawaii, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. She'll be relocating to the east coast soon and is also dabbling in the acting field. Make sure you catch her debut in the upcoming, independent film titled The Gray. This month we're bringing to you another interview...but this time with the beautiful Ashley Cormier! This beautiful sister was born and raised in Louisiana. Ashley already has an impressive resume under her belt. She's won over 20 pageant titles, including Miss Southern Louisiana. She attended the University of New Orleans where she was a Privateer dancer, and even earned a spot on the New Orleans Saints Saintsations. We'd like to give a special thanks to our girl Cheyennne, over at JumpOffModeling, for giving us the opportunity to do this shoot. Happy belated New Year! We'd like to introduce our first model for 2005. This beautiful Afro-brazilian sister's name is Nakeesha. Although she originates from Houston, she's been representing the ATL for about 7 years now. Nakeesha recently signed on with MGI-NYC and she's looking to start a successful career in the modeling and entertainment fields.
